PHE are a team of Engineers, Architects, 3D and interior visualisation specialists supported by a team of trusted partners to provide a complete design solution for residential and commercial projects of varying sizes. We provide design solutions from greenfield site to full completion and our 3D and interior visualisation services enable our clients to see the completed projects before they even start on site.
Padraic Hession
Director
Padraic graduated from NUIG with an honours degree in Civil Engineering in 1997 and
immediately commenced employment in private practice.
Having developed his skills across a
range of residential and commercial project types Padraic then founded Padraic Hession &
Associates in March 2006 which then rebranded to become PHE, Engineering & Architecture in
2022.

Nikki Long
Office Manager
Nikki is a Galway native and joined us in June 2021 as our Office & Accounts Administrator and
shortly after was promoted to Office Manager in September 2021.
Nikki is responsible for overall facilities, accounts and day to day running of the office.
In 2018 Nikki completed her Office Skills Diploma with ICE Pitman Training Centre. With her
customer relations experience working in retail for nearly 10 years combined with her previous
role in a multinational Engineering Consultancy Nikki has extensive expertise in customer
relations, administration and management which is invaluable to our business and clients alike.
Nithin Ramamurthy
Civil Engineer
Nithin is a Civil Engineering graduate from Visvesvaraya Technological University, India and achieved his M E (Masters Degree) in Civil Engineering at National University of Ireland, Galway. He has worked with some of the industry’s best contractors during his career as a Site Engineer and Project Control and Planning Engineer.
A skilled and ambitious professional, his experience spans Civil Engineering and Utility projects, with a special focus on residential buildings. At PHE Nithin is responsible for design and structural detailing of various building types including a range of commercial and residential projects, surveying, civil works and planning permissions. He brings diligence and self-motivation to his role and is dedicated to ensuring that our clients get the best possible results.
Nika Bajt
Architect & Interior Designer
Nika has been working as an Architectural Designer with PHE since 2017.
Since she can remember Nika has been very creative and interested in arts with a background in art and
fashion design. She holds City & Guilds Diploma in CAD and a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior
Architecture from The Munster Technological University, Cork.

Raquel Moreno Garrido
Structural Engineer
Raquel is a Structural Engineer with 5+ years of experience into the complex world of construction.
A graduate of University of Vigo, in Spain, she specialized in structures, hydraulic
lines and heating systems, with a Master’s degree specializing in Structural Engineering from
the same University. Detail-oriented and hard-working individual, easily integrated into
multicultural environments.
A proven friendly but professional team player, with an open mind and a
great eagerness to learn and grow.
During these last years she has been working closely with senior engineers on the design,
logistics and quality control of major projects such as Apple Southlake in Texas, Smithsonian
NASM Museum in Washington, Hounslow High Street Quarter in London or Spencer Place in
Dublin. Working as part of our existing team now, with an emphasis on structural design and
detailing of various building types, including a range of commercial and residential projects,
planning permissions, civil works and surveying.
Vicki Gama
Architect
Vicki achieved her bachelor’s degree in Architecture from UCB- Brasilia in 2017 and continues to further her studies here in Ireland having joined PHE in 2019.
She is a dynamic Architect with experience in Planning and a background in architectural
projects involving residential and commercial developments. She revels in developing initial
concepts with clients to deliver beautiful, comfortable and inviting spaces and she also has a
distinctive eye for detail.

Tara King
Office & Accounts Administrator & Interim Office Manager
Tara joined the staff of PHE Architecture and Engineering in May 2022 and shortly after was promoted to the interim Office Manager.
With over 10 years’ experience in the financial, manufacturing and beauty sectors, Tara brings a wealth of experience, excelling in customer service and administration.
Tara continues to grow her skill set as she is currently completing a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree.
Dermot Treacy
Civil & Structural Technician
Dermot graduated from AIT in 2019 with a degree in Civil Engineering, from there he began working as a Technical Engineer with Killeshal Precast Concrete in Co. Offaly.
In this role, he worked on the design, supply and manufacturing of precast concrete products to various different projects from one off housing to large scale residential developments and have done this for the past 3+ years. He joined us in November 2022 and has already proven to be a team player. Dermot values the importance of good working relationships with colleagues and clients to achieve the common goal.
Mia Ainsworth
Office & Accounts Administrator & Graduate Architect
Mia is a graduate architect who joined the staff of PHE Engineering & Architecture in November 2022.
She achieved her bachelor’s degree in Architecture from UL in 2022 and has over 5 years’ experience working in the customer service sector as a manager. Mia is hard-working and has expertise in management, customer relations and design.
